England can book a spot in the knockout stages of the World Cup on Tuesday while Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal will be looking to reboot their campaign.
Brendon McCullum will once again address the media ahead of what is shaping up to be a must-win third Test for England against New Zealand at Trent Bridge later this week.
Here is a guide to what is happening in the sporting world on Monday, and where you can watch it in the UK.
England flying but Portugal yet to take off

England will guarantee passage through to the last 32 in Boston if they beat Ghana, who, at 65th in the world, are the lowest-ranked side Thomas Tuchel’s team will face in Group L. Watch on BBC One at 2000.
A stirring second-half display in a 4-2 win against Croatia was one of the biggest statements any team made during the first round of matches, justifying England’s tag as one of the tournament favourites.
A star-studded Portugal, meanwhile, stuttered to a 1-1 draw in Group K against DR Congo last time out, with Cristiano Ronaldo attracting criticism from all quarters for his anonymous performance.
The Portugal captain, the all-time record goalscorer in men’s international football, has a chance to quieten his detractors when his side take on Uzbekistan in Houston. Coverage starts on ITV at 1700.
McCullum under the microscope – again

A dismal fortnight on and off the field has left question marks over the England hierarchy, most notably head coach Brendon McCullum and managing director of men’s cricket Rob Key.
The pair’s reluctance to back Ben Stokes following his post-midnight escapades in a London nightclub two weeks ago was surprising, as was McCullum saying he was worried about his Test captain’s wellbeing.
Durham hit back at those claims and Stokes, plus Gus Atkinson, will face no further action over the incident, allowing them to return to the fold for this week’s third Test against New Zealand.
Stokes will have his say on Wednesday but McCullum will face the media before then to face more questions about whether their relationship is still strong or is fraying at the seams. Watch on Sky Sports Main Event from 1245.
