
- Tui River Cruises has floated out its first purpose-built river cruise ship, Tui Luzia, in Kladovo, Serbia, with final touches now being completed at the Concordia Damen shipyard.
- Scheduled for delivery in June 2027, Tui Luzia will make its debut on Portugal's Douro river, marking the cruise line's inaugural season in the region.
- The ship will offer a seven-night “Douro Discovery” itinerary from Porto, featuring highlights such as the old stone houses of Entre-os-Rios and the vineyards of Barca d'Alva.
- Tui Luzia will accommodate 111 passengers in 56 cabins who will have access to four decks, including a top deck with a shallow pool, and various dining and lounge areas like Cinder, Novo, and Vinha.
- Fares for the Full Board Plus cruise, which includes flights and select drinks with meals, start from £1,859 per person.
