SHAH ALAM - Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been discharged from the National Heart Institute (IJN) today, after being admitted for 52 days.
Dr Mahathir, 98, was admitted to IJN on Jan 26, 2024 for treatment of infection and for observation.
"Dr Mahathir had been discharged from the IJN at 11.30am today," a statement released from his office read.
Previously, the prominent leader’s health issues were revealed during proceedings for his defamation suit against Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
