Turki Alalshikh has responded to Eddie Hearn as tensions continue to rise between some of boxing’s most influential figures.

The Saudi boxing chief took to social media after the 46-year-old Englishman recently mocked his relationship with Dana White.

The exchange comes at a time when the sport is entering a new phase, with the launch of Alalshikh and White’s Zuffa Boxing threatening Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.

Hearn and White were once friends, but their relationship took a turn after the American businessman joined the boxing market.

The Briton recently described Alalshikh as White’s “new daddy” for his influence on Zuffa Boxing launching, and that comment quickly circulated within the boxing world.

On Thursday, Alalshikh responded directly on X with a message aimed at the Matchroom promoter.

He wrote: “Eddie, don’t worry, I am always here for you. And if you call me, unlike Conor Benn, I will answer the phone.”

The remark made a clear reference to Conor Benn’s agreement to join Zuffa Boxing.

The 29-year-old had a close bond with Hearn, but signed a $15 million deal with his rivals’ promotion, which left the Briton ‘devastated’.

Hearn has been outspoken about the arrival of Zuffa Boxing.

The Matchroom promoter has publicly questioned how the organisation plans to operate and what impact it could have on the existing boxing structure.

The situation intensified after Benn’s shocking move to Zuffa Boxing.

As a result, the relationship between Hearn, White and Alalshikh has become increasingly strained, with public exchanges now adding another layer to the rivalry shaping boxing’s changing promotional landscape.
