KUALA PENYU: A man and a child escaped unhurt after their Proton Exora skidded off the road and landed in a drain at Kampung Kerukan late Saturday night.
District Fire and Rescue Station chief Ak Mohd Rafie Pg Baha said a team of 11 personnel rushed to the scene after receiving a call at 11.56pm and found the two victims had already managed to get out safely.
Firemen carried out checks to ensure there were no further risks at the location before concluding the operation at 12.19am.
