  • Two firefighters, Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick Jr. from Walnuttown Fire Company, died in a head-on collision in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening.
  • The incident occurred while they were searching for a missing woman, approximately 45 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
  • Their utility vehicle, reportedly on the shoulder of Route 222, was struck by a southbound Toyota Camry that swerved off the road.
  • The two occupants of the Toyota Camry fled the scene after the crash but were subsequently arrested by police.
  • Autopsies for both firefighters, who were residents of Fleetwood, were scheduled for Monday, and their fire company shared condolences.
