Kota Kinabalu: A 50-year-old man suffered burns on his legs in a fire that destroyed two houses and four vehicles at Kampung Warisan, Lorong 8, Jalan Tuaran Bypass, here, Thursday.
The Fire and Rescue Department despatched a team from the Lintas fire station to the location, assisted by teams from Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Tuaran.
According to a department spokesman, police and Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd personnel were also present
“The two houses were (destroyed) and an injured victim was given initial treatment before being sent to the hospital.
