
RANAU: Two people were injured in a collision involving two vehicles on Jalan Lohan, here, on Thursday night.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Station Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said six members led by operations commander Mastin Suli were rushed to the location following a call received via the station line about the 10pm incident.
Advertisement“Upon arriving at the scene 9km from the station, they found two vehicles - a Toyota Rav4 and a Toyota Land Cruiser - involved in the collision.
“There were three victims, two of whom were the vehicles’ drivers who were injured and removed by firefighters,” he said, adding another victim escaped unscathed.

Read more The two injured victims were sent to the hospital in a Fire Department EMRS vehicle and a Ministry of Health ambulance for further treatment, said Ridwan.
“After ensuring that there was no further danger, the operation ended at 10.30am,” he said.
