PAPAR: Two men died on the spot while a woman was injured following a collision between two vehicles – a Proton Persona and 5-tonne lorry – along KM45, Jalan Kimanis – Keningau, here, Friday.
District Police Chief DSP Kamaruddin Ambo Sakka said the 33-year-old chauffeur of a rented car lost control of the sedan which then entered the opposite lane while ferrying a family of three from Kota Kinabalu to Keningau.
The victims’ car collided with a lorry that was heading downhill, which led to both vehicles crashing to the left side of the road.
