TWO men have been remanded for five days until 26 November to assist police investigations into the fatal shooting and stabbing of a man near a restaurant in Nusari Biz Sendayan on Wednesday.

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad confirmed that the remand order for the 32- and 29-year-old suspects was issued today by Magistrate Saifol Sayuti at the Seremban Magistrate’s Court.

“The remand is to allow further investigations to be conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code and Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971,” he told Bernama.

Earlier reports indicated that the 33-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene after allegedly being attacked with a firearm and a parang by a group of masked individuals.

The violent assault has prompted authorities to intensify their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack. - November 22, 2025
