
TUARAN: Two people, a man and a woman, died in a crash involving a Proton Wira and a Toyota Revo at Bukit Kelawat in Kota Belud on Sunday.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department said they received the emergency call at 7.42pm and reached the scene at 8.06pm.
“The deceased, both aged 28, were trapped inside the Proton Wira before being extracted by firefighters,” said the Department in a statement.
“They were confirmed dead at the scene by Health Department personnel, and their bodies were handed over to the police for further action.”
