Tyson Fury aims dig at Anthony Joshua after watching epic Dubois-Wardley fight

  • Daniel Dubois secured the WBO heavyweight title by stopping Fabio Wardley in the 11th round on Saturday, having climbed off the canvas twice during the fight.
  • Tyson Fury questioned Anthony Joshua's resilience following the fight, referencing Dubois's 2024 clash against Joshua where Dubois dropped him five times.
  • Fury highlighted that Dubois did not manage to knock down other opponents such as Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, Oleksandr Usyk, or Wardley, despite landing significant punches.
  • Fury implied that Joshua has a weak chin by branding him “chinny”, despite stating he was not calling him “chinless”, based on the comparative ease with which Dubois floored him.
  • Both Fury and Joshua are contracted to fight each other later this year, with Joshua scheduled to face Kristian Prenga on 25 July and Fury also planning a warm-up bout before their anticipated autumn clash at Wembley.
