  • Saudi matchmaker Turki Alalshikh has hinted that a long-awaited boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been signed, by posting on X: "To my friends in Great Britain - it’s happening. It’s signed."
  • The highly anticipated heavyweight clash has been discussed for years, with a previous agreement in 2021 failing to materialise, much to the disappointment of British boxing fans.
  • Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, had previously stated that Joshua would likely compete against a different opponent this summer before a potential autumn showdown with Fury.
