KOTA KINABALU: The official birthday celebration of the Sabah Governor in 2025 will not span three months but will instead feature seven events throughout June, said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam (pic).
Joachim, also the organising chairman, said the State Cabinet has decided that the official celebration programme will take place on June 21.
The number of events has been reduced from 12 in 2024 to seven this year.
Additionally, the budget for the celebration has been cut by 30 per cent compared to the previous year.
All planned events align with past official birthday celebrations, ensuring continuity in tradition.
