Tze Yong off to flying start at World Champs

KUALA LUMPUR – Commonwealth Games silver medallist Ng Tze Yong continued his outstanding performance after qualifying for the second round of the Badminton World Championships in Tokyo today.

The 22-year-old player crushed Indonesia’s Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo 21-16, 21-10 in 20 minutes.

Tze Yong will either face Japan’s Kanta Tsuneyama or Thailand’s Sitthikom Thammasin for a place in the third round. – The Vibes, August 22, 2022
