U2 have announced their first British stadium shows in a decade as part of The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour to London in 2027.
The band have announced two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 18 and 19 June 2027, with Wolf Alice joining as special guests.
Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr last headlined London at The O2 in October 2018, during the eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE tour, which also visited Manchester and Belfast.
Their previous UK stadium dates came even earlier, in July 2017, when two nights at Twickenham marked the 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree.
The announcement arrives during U2's 50th anniversary celebrations.
The European leg of the tour opens in Stockholm on 26 April, with further dates in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin and Milan.
New music is also on the way, with the band's 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz, arriving on 13 November 2026. It will feature collaborations with Brian Eno, Martin Garrix and Dolly Parton.
The 12-track record was produced by Jacknife Lee and follows this year's surprise EPs, Days of Ash and Easter Lily.
The latest single, ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’, comes accompanied with a striking video from long-time collaborator Anton Corbijn.
The new tour takes its name from the single, with U2 promising a career-spanning setlist when they hit UK stadiums next year.
