Dutch great Wim van Hanegem wants more from Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.
In his column for AD, Van Hanegem believes Van Dijk has been "careless" in his defending so far this season.
The moments that he defends carelessly by letting his leg hang back a little to block a ball, continue to occur," highlighted Van Hanegem.
"If he gets that laconic quality out of his game, he will be the best defender on earth for years to come."
Van Dijk joins up with the Holland squad again this week.
