- Lens supporters have been banned by Uefa from attending Champions League away matches against Leipzig and Liverpool following crowd disorder.
- The sanction was imposed after Lens fans lit and threw pyrotechnics during their 3-0 defeat against Club Brugge, forcing the match to be briefly suspended.
- Uefa also fined the French club 80,000 euros (£67,000) for pyrotechnic offences and acts of damage, with a third match ban deferred for a two-year probationary period.
- The decision means Liverpool will face Lens at Anfield in January in front of home supporters only as they seek qualification for the knockout stages.
- Liverpool currently sit third in the Champions League standings having won all three of their opening fixtures in the competition.
