Manchester United have been told they must negotiate with UEFA about multi-club ownership before Monday.

The Red Devils and Nice are both in the Europa League for next season, after United won the FA Cup last weekend.

However, INEOS owns a 27 percent stake in United and a higher portion of the shares of Nice.

We are aware of the position of both clubs and are in direct dialogue with Uefa," INEOS said in a statement.

We are confident we have a route forward for next season in Europe."

United are not thought to be in any danger of losing out on their Europa League spot.
