Lerone Murphy competes in the biggest fight of his career tonight, as the British star headlines UFC London against Movsar Evloev.

The main-event contest sees Manchester’s Murphy and his Russian opponent put their unbeaten records on the line, and a shot at featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski surely awaits the winner.

Murphy, 34, is one of many British talents on the card, with Michael “Venom” Page also starring against former training partner and compatriot Sam Patterson.

Then there’s Luke Riley, a teammate of Liverpudlian star Paddy Pimblett, taking on Michael Aswell Jr in the co-main event while aiming to go 2-0 in the UFC. Fan favourite Nathaniel Wood and rising heavyweight Mario Pinto are among the other Britons in action, as the UFC returns to familiar surroundings in the O2 Arena.

Wood, victorious with a points win over Keita, limps into the media room and says his foot might be broken.

Jones picks up another win for Team GB!

20:00 , Alex Pattle

Mason Jones def. Axel Sola via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

A deserved win by Jones and so much heart shown from both men. Wow. Jones is fired-up in his post-fight interview in the cage (he apologises for swearing!)

Jones with knee after knee after knee

19:57 , Alex Pattle

The crowd erupts down the final straight as Jones BLASTS Sola with knee after knee after knee against the fence! Some to the body, some to the head.

What a final round from the Welshman, who has surely grabbed the decision win...

Jones wobbles Sola in captivating onslaught on bloody opponent

19:54 , Alex Pattle

Wow, Sola is cut BADLY on his right cheek. That’s a wide gash, and most of his corner’s work between rounds is on treating it.

OH! And Jones rocks him early in this final round with a head kick, before landing TWO spinning back elbows!

How is Sola still in this? He even takes down the Welshman, wow.

But Jones does well to pop back to his feet, and he’ll back himself to maintain supremacy in the striking...

Mason Jones in firefight as prelims near their end

19:50 , Alex Pattle

It’s been a bit of a firefight so far, with both men badly bloodied and the bout going everywhere, including in some tense grappling exchanges.

It’s likely one round apiece as the final frame approaches...

Mason Jones in featured prelim

19:43 , Will Castle

Time for Wales’ own Mason Jones to see out the prelims against Axel Sola.

Jones is on a two-fight tear since working his way back to the UFC last year - and both men have come out of the blocks quickly!

Wood ekes out victory on scorecards

19:33 , Will Castle

Keita has really grown into this fight and and is swinging for the fences as he searches for a statement final-round finish.

Wood is still chipping away with the jabs but as far as damage is concerned, the occasional Keita haymaker could swing this in his favour on the scorecards.

This has been a really close fight and as the buzzer goes, both men celebrate. We go to a decision...

Nathaniel Wood def. Losene Keita via split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)

The Londoner stays undefeated in London and extends his win streak to four against a very tricky opponent!

Keita letting his hands go after tentative start

19:26 , Will Castle

Nothing huge landed in the first round barring a few Wood calf kicks that echo around the arena, with both men too quick to succumb to any big shots.

Wood begins to find his distance in the second, landing a sharp right but Keita comes back with a nice combo of his own. Wood then times a lovely leg kick to send the Belgian to the mat - and once again Keita responds by knocking Wood back with a perfectly-timed punch of his own.

Keita finishes the round really strong, unleashing a big right overhand that connects as the buzzer goes. That’ll be his on the scorecards - a big final five minutes needed from Wood.

Fan favourite Nathaniel Wood in pivotal featherweight showdown

19:10 , Will Castle

Time for one of the night’s fan favourites as Morden’s own Nathaniel Wood takes on Losene Keita in a bout many think is worthy of the main card.

Belgian fighter Keita was meant to make his UFC debut against Patricio Pitbull last year but missed weight. This time, he gets it right on the scales and will hope to make a statement by ending Wood’s three-fight win streak.

Wood wants a finish, but he’ll need to be careful against the fast-starting Keita. This one should be a banger!

Still undefeated!

19:06 , Will Castle

For a man with proven knockout power, the gameplan for Pinto is clearly to take Franco down to the ground, something that he finally manages to achieve after four minutes of successful defence from his opponent in the second round. Maybe that’s edged him on the scorecards going into the third, but this has been a close bout.

With Franco tiring, Pinto shoots again at the beginning of a potentially decisive final round and succeeds. He’s got him up against the fence and is just digging into the Brazilian’s body.

The Portuguese heavyweight nearly gets caught with a knee as he goes for another late single leg - he eats it up before closing out the bout by trading strikes. We go to a decision...

Mario Pinto def. Felipe Franco via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Not as explosive as we’re perhaps used to seeing him, but Pinto gets it done and keeps his zero intact!

Pinto begins as the aggressor

18:52 , Will Castle

Pinto lands a big left and forces Franco into a takedown attempt to try and thwart the Portuguese’s approach. That looked to stumble him.

Franco, whose training partner is serial-wrestler Jailton Almeida, does not fully rely on his ground game and opts to stand and bang towards the end of the first, leading Pinto to reverse the roles and shoot for a double-leg against the fence.

We go to a second round.

Rising heavyweight Mario Pinto up now

18:47 , Will Castle

Time for London-bred Portuguese rising heavyweight Mario Pinto to try and haul the momentum back for the local fighters.

He’s up against Felipe Franco, who stepped in on short notice to replace the injured Mick Parkin.

Kondratavicius gets the win

18:44 , Will Castle

An impressive performance from Kondratavicius, who doesn’t get the desired finish but sees out the unanimous decision win.

Some big shots landed from Kondratavicius, especially in that second round, with the Lithuanian clearly the more effective of the two.

Trocoli, with a cut above the left eye, knew his fate as Bruce Buffer read out the result...

Mantas Kondratavicius def. Antonio Trocoli by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-27, 29-27)

Al-Sewady speaks on Rock altercation

18:34 , Alex Pattle

Al-Sewady speaks on post-fight scrap with Rock, after outpointing the Scouser:

“I don’t really think there’s too much to say about it; I only talk in the cage with my performance.

“It was a desperate attempt to try to get under my skin. My opponent has been in my DMs for the last month – him and his crew of guys.”

Al-Sewady says the pair would actually trade random messages back and forth for a while!

“There is no ‘Shem Show’.

“He came to me in the end and said, ‘It’s all business.’ I said, ‘It’s not all business; what you just did is very disrespectful to the sport.’

“You don’t extend your hand for a handshake and then push someone.” That’s a reference to Rock’s behaviour at the weigh-in yesterday.

Calm but cutting from Al-Sewady, who adds that his coach came to the arena STRAIGHT from the airport!

Explaining the post-fight incident a bit more, he says he refused to shake Rock’s hand and alleges that Rock tried to punch him.

Trocoli in trouble as third round looms

18:29 , Alex Pattle

Trocoli doesn’t take as much time as you’d think, and as the action resumes, he eats some clean punches while his hands are too low.

Kondratavicius ends up taking down Trocoli against the fence and landing some good ground and pound before trying a rear naked choke.

Trocoli survives to the buzzer, and we’ll see a third and final round...

Kondratavicius drops Trocoli before low blow

18:26 , Alex Pattle

Trocoli goes down in round two, dropped by a beautiful elbow!

For a split second, it looks like he’s out, but he regains composure impressively.

He’s back on his feet, but Kondratavicius is holding him against the fence, where he lands another nice elbow.

Oh, a knee seems to land low, however, and Trocoli is given time to recover... A replay shows it was close to being legal...

Trocoli has five minutes, and he’ll use most of that time, you’d think.

Middleweight action under way

18:18 , Alex Pattle

Down to 185lb now, as Mantas Kondratavicius takes on Antonio Trocoli.

It’s one of the only fights tonight without a Brit involved.

Louie Sutherland succumbs to first-round stoppage

18:10 , Will Castle

We expected all out madness and we expected it to be short - but it’s not to be for the “Vanilla Gorilla”.

He succumbs to a first-round stoppage at the heavy hands of Brando Pericic after engaging in a proper slugfest. The Brit is just overwhelmed by Pericic’s ground strikes and falls to 0-2 in the UFC.

Brando Pericic def. Louie Sutherland via first-round knockout (ground strikes, 1:48)

“F**ing hell! F**’s sake!” Sutherland bellows after losing.

Heavyweight Louie Sutherland aims to restore British momentum

18:03 , Alex Pattle

The “Vanilla Gorilla” Louie Sutherland is out next, taking on Brando Pericic at heavyweight.

Sutherland is aiming to avoid the same fate as Rock, having also lost his UFC debut late last year.

Sutherland is a training partner of heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.

Pimblett teammate Shem Rock falls to 0-2 in UFC

17:59 , Alex Pattle

Oh, it kicks off after the final buzzer!

There’s an altercation between Rock and Al-Sewady, leading security to separate them as fans boo. Eventually the fighters seem to squash it, to be fair.

A tense wait for the scorecards now...

Rock did more of the front-foot fighting, but he often took a shot to land one. He fought very nicely in spurts with some slick striking and slippery defensive grappling, but he also showed some holes in his game...

Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady def. Shem Rock via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Wow, we saw it closer than that, with an Al-Sewady win certainly fair – but maybe 29-28 fairer.

Shanelle Dyer: 'I told you I don't lie'

17:52 , Will Castle

"I told you I don't lie, I told you I was going to headkick her and I did,” Shanelle Dyer said after her debut knockout win over Ravena Oliveira.

“I'm gassed, it's what dreams are made of. Best day of my life.

“I want three fights minimum this year and I want to take them out one by one.

“I wanted to kick it off explosively and that’s what I’ve done.”

Eddie Hearn labels Tom Aspinall’s UFC contract a ‘disgrace’

17:51 , Alex Pattle

In other news this week...

Eddie Hearn has labelled Tom Aspinall’s UFC contract “a disgrace” after signing the heavyweight champion to his new talent agency.

This month brought the shock news that promoter Hearn, who runs Matchroom Boxing, had joined mixed-martial-arts star Aspinall in an advisory role.

Fans were quick to note Hearn’s ongoing rivalry with UFC president and CEO Dana White, who has launched several verbal attacks against the British promoter since the birth of Zuffa Boxing in January.

“I represent the UFC world heavyweight champion,” Hearn told media on Friday, as filmed by Pro Boxing Fans. “I’m gonna bite my tongue a little bit for now, but what I will tell you is: his contract is a f***ing disgrace. Right? A disgrace.”

Not the best job at biting your tongue, Eddie, but...

Why UFC London 2026 is much more important than you realise

17:44 , Alex Pattle

As the UFC returns to the dome of the O2 Arena, some might accuse the mixed martial arts promotion of being in a bit of a bubble right now. Certainly, fan resentment has been bubbling up for some time now, but the UFC can often appear ignorant to this sentiment – or stubborn enough to resist trying to quell it.

It is against this backdrop of growing criticism that the MMA juggernaut hosts its latest edition of UFC London. From recent events to upcoming ones, including an overhyped card at the White House on 14 June, the quality of the UFC’s output has been raising eyebrows and lowering expectations.

With this in mind, a strange card – on paper – will play out tonight.

Why UFC London 2026 is much more important than you realise

Chaos in first round between Rock and Al-Sewady!

17:44 , Will Castle

What a first round between Rock and Al-Sewady.

Both men have their moments, with Rock seeming to stun his opponent with a head kick, only to be dropped in a flash knockdown seconds later.

The round ends with Rock eating a big up-kick from the downed Al-Sewady.

Movsar Evloev forced to overcome visa issues to reach London

17:37 , Alex Pattle

Fans are lucky that Evloev made it to London at all!

Last week, rumours circulated that he was having visa issues, which he played down at the time.

But on Wednesday, he confirmed that there had in fact been trouble.

That trouble had led to rumours that Jean Silva might step in, but the Brazilian now looks likelier to challenge champion Alex Volkanovski before the winner of tonight’s main event does...

Pimblett teammate Shem Rock emerges after opponent is booed

17:29 , Alex Pattle

Next up, Paddy Pimblett’s teammate Shem Rock aims to bounce back after losing his UFC debut in November.

Rock takes on Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady at lightweight, and the latter is unsurprisingly booed as he makes his ring walk.

Next out is Rock to a great reception, one day after he faked a handshake on Al-Selwady and pushed him at the weigh-in.

Shanelle Dyer gets things going with stoppage victory

17:23 , Alex Pattle

It’s already DEAFENING in the O2 as Dyer stops Oliveira early in round two!

Her body work freezes Oliveira, before an onslaught of strikes and some bullying wrestling set up a TKO against the cage.

If it’s this loud already, what will it be like for MVP, Riley and Murphy?

Luke Riley admits Michael Page should be in co-main event, not him

17:21 , Alex Pattle

One of the more-surprising elements of tonight’s card is that Liverpool’s Luke Riley is in the co-main event, in just his second UFC fight.

It’s expected that the featherweight’s teammate, Paddy Pimblett, will walk him out in what should be a great moment at the O2.

However, surely Michael “Venom” Page should be in the co-main event instead, given his ranking and experience?

Well, even Riley thinks so!

Shanelle Dyer kicks off prelims against Ravena Oliveira

17:15 , Alex Pattle

The first fight of the night is under way, as England’s Shanelle Dyer takes on Ravena Oliveira at strawweight.

A good amount of fans are in the arena already, making noise. It bodes well for a good seven or so hours of MMA tonight!

British fighter Mullins emotional on scales before opponent misses weight

17:13 , Alex Pattle

Tonight’s card is under way! We’ll have you covered with live updates from the O2 Arena very shortly.

The event was due to begin with a women’s bantamweight bout: Melissa Mullins vs Luana Carolina. However, moments after an emotional Mullins made weight yesterday – follow two previous career misses – her opponent failed to make weight herself.

As such, that fight was cancelled, with Carolina 8lb over the 136lb limit.
