The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) said on Saturday that it has again used drones to attack a Russian oil pumping station crucial for Moscow's fuel supply.
A technical building at the facility in Vtorovo, near the capital of the Vladimir region east of Moscow, was hit in the operation, according to an SBU statement.
This is thought to be the second successful attack on the pumping station within a month. Russian authorities have not yet commented on the alleged strike.
The Vtorovo station belongs to Russia's state-owned oil pipeline company Transneft. Among other functions, it pumps diesel fuel into the Moscow Ring Pipeline, which supplies large oil depots surrounding the capital.
Ukraine has been fighting a full-scale Russian invasion ordered by President Vladimir Putin for more than four years.
In recent months, it increasingly attacked strategically important targets in the Russian hinterland with drones and missiles, including numerous oil industry facilities.
As a result, many Russian regions are complaining of fuel shortages, with much footage shared on social media showing long queues at filling stations across the country.
