Umno leaders arrive for party's supreme council meeting

KUALA LUMPUR - Umno leaders have started arriving at Menara Dato Onn, World Trade Centre (WTC), here for the party's supreme council meeting tonight.

During the meeting, focus would be on several major decisions among others the date of the party polls, this year and the fate of some of its leaders who were linked to the act of sabotaging and criticising the party's leadership.

Among those who were present were Umno vice president Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali, Federal Territories Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.

The meeting that will be chaired by Umno president Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was scheduled to start at 9pm.
