Harry Hardwick has told fans there’s no need to feel sorry for him after March 14.
Both of the Brit’s fights inside the Octagon have ended in losses, with injuries playing a big part in each one.
Hardwick was stopped by leg kicks during his late-notice debut in Paris last September, and left the cage needing a wheelchair.
He had more moments to show what he could do in his second outing, but a broken jaw forced him out before the fight could finish. Even so, he took time to reflect on it soon after.
Harry Hardwick finds positives after UFC Vegas 114 loss

Harry Hardwick’s second UFC fight didn’t go the distance, but it still earned him and Marwan Rahiki a Fight of the Night bonus.
The Briton took 90 significant strikes across the first two rounds before his corner stopped it between rounds, citing a broken jaw.
As he was being taken to hospital after the fight, Hardwick spoke about his injuries, even managing to keep things light-hearted despite the setback.
“Everybody, I’m okay,” he said via his Instagram story. “My jaw is obviously f—– but that’s alright. I like soup. I like smoothies and I like milkshakes and I like energy drinks. So, all these things I can still have. Life is good.”
‘Houdini’ disagreed with those saying his opponent got lucky due to injury and instead pointed out all the things in his life that keep him grounded.
“I cannot complain about my position. I have an amazing, beautiful girlfriend. Good house, good family, good support network. No one needs to cry for me, I’m okay. I’m obviously gutted but that’s the sport I’m in. I wanted the win but it is what it is. Hats off to Marwan.”
Harry Hardwick’s display at UFC Vegas 114 was enough to change the mind of one of his harshest critics
Cub Swanson didn’t hold back in his initial assessment of Harry Hardwick, saying after his debut that he “might be the worst fighter in the UFC”.
But Swanson changed his tune after seeing how Hardwick held up at UFC Vegas 114.
“I was critical of Harry Hardwick but he is extremely tough and I don’t wish a broken jaw on anyone,” he wrote on X. “I’ve been there before. Speedy recovery.”
Swanson is getting ready for his farewell bout against Nate Landwehr at UFC 327 next month.
