Unhealthy air in 2 areas in Selangor

BANTING and Klang in Selangor recorded unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings as of 9am today.

Banting registered a reading of 163 and Klang, 135

Thirty-five areas showed moderate API readings of 51-100, while 12 other locations logged good readings of below 50.

API readings of 0-50 are categorised good, 51-100 (moderate), 101-200 (unhealthy), 201-300 (very unhealthy) and 300 and above (hazardous).

API data are issued hourly and based on readings at air quality monitoring stations across the country. – April 9, 2024.
