Unifi TV is giving everyone in Malaysia free access to all 73 of its premium channels, including HBO and Cinemax, from 31 August to 30 September 2026. The month-long free viewing period is part of Unifi’s Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia celebrations, while also marking TM’s 80th anniversary.
Better yet, you don’t need to be an existing Unifi customer to enjoy them. New users only need to download the Unifi TV 2.0 app and register using an email address withou payment or subscription is required. The service can be watched on Smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and Android TV boxes.
The 73-channel line-up covers local entertainment, movies, sports, kids’ programmes, news and more. Among the programmes and events available are:
- Bisikan Pontianak, a Unifi TV Original on DEGUP
- Lanterns on HBO
- The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, live on HITS NOW
- MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix and Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, live on SPOTV and beIN SPORTS
- The Shadow’s Edge on Celestial Movies
- Gangubai Kathiawadi on ZEE Cinema
The free viewing doesn’t completely end after September either. From 1 October, users will continue to get 22 channels at no charge. This includes the existing 16 free-to-air channels, along with six additional premium channels: DEGUP HD, Dunia Sinema HD, Sensasi HD, Inspirasi HD, Pesona HD and Al Jazeera.
There’s nothing extra users need to do, as access to these 22 channels will continue automatically without having to cancel or sign up again. Unifi TV is also lining up new content for October with DEGUP will introduce more Unifi TV Original series, including Nak Dengar Cerita Hantu Season 2, as well as Secret Book Club.
