- US owners of the PS5 can now watch live television on their console following the launch of ‘Live TV on PS5’.
- The “free ad-supported experience” enables users to “discover more than 100 live channels and a growing selection of on-demand entertainment”, according to PlayStation’s blog.
- To access Live TV on PS5, users can navigate to the Media tab, press on ‘Live TV on PS5’ followed by ‘Sign In With My PlayStation Account’.
- Live TV on PS5 offers news and sports coverage, alongside “free movies across action, horror, sci-fi and more” and “fan-favorite programming”, PlayStation said.
- “Live TV on PS5 will continue to evolve with regularly refreshed programming, new channels and additional content over time. We’re also looking to expand the experience to Canada and will continue to explore additional regions,” it added.
