GEORGETOWN - Bayan Lepas Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Datuk Dr Dominic Lau trails behind his opponent with more than 2,000 votes in the state polls.
His rival from Pakatan Harapan (PH) Azrul Mahathir is leading with 15,000 votes according to unofficial live updates.
PN have been eyeing the Bayan Lepas seat with high hopes that Gerakan president would win with high majority votes.
Despite having internal issues among the party, Lau managed to woo more than 10,000 votes in a close fight with his rival.
