SHAH ALAM - Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, popularly known as Tok Mat, has taken a commanding lead over his opponent, Rozmal Malakan of Perikatan Nasional (PN), in the unofficial vote count for the Rantau State Assembly election.

As unofficial results continue to pour in, Tok Mat's remarkable performance is evident, with him garnering 15,134 votes.

On the other side, Rozmal Malakan has secured 5,504 votes in the current unofficial tally.
