Sport says Abde spoke to coach Xavi and it was clear to him that he would not have minutes with the number of wingers in the first team.
Both he and Barça agreed that he could not play one more year in the reserve team as it would hinder his progression and so he put himself on the market.
His only condition was that he wanted to choose his team, as he didn't wish to go abroad and wanted to play in Spain and adapt to La Liga.
The winger will renew his contract until 2026 and in all likelihood will also leave for Valencia.
