Maison Valentino has announced the launch of a new collaborative footwear collection with Vans, uniting the high-fashion craftsmanship of Valentino Garavani with the laid-back authenticity of Vans’ iconic streetwear style.

Unveiled during Valentino’s Le Méta Théâtre Des Intimités Fall/Winter 2025–26 show in Paris last March, the Valentino Garavani and Vans sneakers made a bold statement on the runway, appearing as key elements within Alessandro Michele’s debut collection as Creative Director.

The collaboration centres around the Vans Authentic, a timeless low-top silhouette first introduced in 1966. Staying true to the spirit of both brands, the sneakers retain the sturdy canvas uppers and signature rubber waffle sole, while incorporating Valentino’s distinct aesthetic through new patterns, colourways, and co-branded detailing.

A total of six versions will be released for both men and women, featuring exclusive designs and prints. Among the most notable styles is a limited edition featuring the whimsical Valentino Le Chat de la Maison motif, which will be available only through Valentino boutiques, Valentino.com, and the Vans flagship store on Oxford Street in London.

Each pair will be presented in custom packaging that merges Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern with Valentino’s VLogo Signature, creating a unique collector’s item for both fashion and sneaker enthusiasts.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the collaboration, Michele said:

“What happens when the unexpected bursts into our lives? I tried to build a reflection through images: a dreamlike and surreal fresco where nature suddenly explodes, cracking the neat surface of architectures and technologies that surround us. It’s the vertigo of dissolution—but also the promise of a new beginning.”
