
Kota Kinabalu: Various plans have been laid out to improve the economic standards and development of cooperatives and enterprises in the country, said Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.
In his winding up speech for Budget 2023 in Parliament, he said that there are 28 new and existing initiatives conducted by the ministry including the RM10 million entrepreneurship programme by the national entrepreneurship institute.
The Penampang MP said there is also a RM330 million financing programme under Tekun Nasional including RM30 million for the Indian Community Entrepreneurship scheme (SPUMI) and a RM10 allocation for the Tekun Mobilepreneur programme in place.
