Netherlands goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen has suffered an apparent hip injury scare in the team's final World Cup tune-up match against Uzbekistan.
Brighton & Hove Albion's Verbruggen was substituted after a collision with Abdukodir Khusanov in the second half of Monday's match in New York the Dutch won 2-1.
"We will have to wait and see. He will undergo examinations," broadcasters NOS quoted coach Ronald Koeman as saying.
Second choice Mark Flekken from Bayer Leverkusen replaced Verbruggen for the remainder of the match against Uzbekistan. The third Dutch keeper is Sunderland's Robin Roelfs.
Koemann said he will discuss the situation with the goalkeepers once they have arrived at their World Cup base camp in Kansas City. The Dutch play their first World Cup match on Sunday against Japan.
The Dutch had earlier announced that Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber would miss the World Cup with a groin injury. His place in the squad is taken by Lutsharel Geertruida.
