SHAH ALAM – Veteran film and drama actor Kamarool Yusoff, better known as Cik Man, died on Wednesday after reportedly suffering a heart attack.
Cik Man breathed his last at 5.15pm while receiving treatment at Hospital Tanah Merah. He was 68.
The news of his passing was shared by comedian Amir Raja Lawak in a Facebook post.
"May our late brother Kamarool be placed among the righteous believers," he said.
Earlier, Amir had informed followers that the late actor had been placed in a medically induced coma after suffering a blocked artery.
Cik Man was best remembered for portraying Zack, the leader of the Gagak Hitam gang, in the classic film Gila-Gila Remaja, a role that left a lasting impression on audiences.
He also earned acclaim for his performances in the popular films Rock and Rock Oo.
