THE Kudat Klasik team took second place in the Brunei Dirgahayu Cup Veterans Football Tournament held at the Bandar Seri Begawan Sports Field in Brunei Darussalam recently.

Kudat Klasik lost 2-1 to the PSJD team from Tutong in the finals and received $2,000 in cash, a trophy and medals, while PSJD took home $7,000 and a championship trophy and medals.

A total of 24 teams including 11 teams from Sabah and Sarawak participated in the tournament organised by the Kampung Sungai Kedayan Youth Union Football Club (KPPKSK) and Litmus Management Services for three days from August 17.
