Vice Cosmetics will stage a two-day pop-up event for its “aura mochimo” collection on Feb. 27 and 28 at Guijo Studios in Makati.
The “aura mochimo” line features cheek and eye products, including blushes, brontour, highlighter and eyeshadow palettes. Also included in the collection are makeup brushes designed for the eyes and cheeks, as well as a blending puff that comes with a carrying case.
Cathryn Lao, co-CEO of Vice Cosmetics, said the collection is part of the brand’s continuing direction. “After the success of our previous collections, we are very happy to present aura mochimo as part of Vice Cosmetics’ mission to be Makeup for Life,” she said.
Marketing manager Brenda Santos described “aura mochimo” as drawing from playful influences. “aura mochimo is our playful, kawaii-inspired world where makeup feels soft, looks vibrant and brings joy with every touch,” she said.
The collection takes inspiration from mochi, a Japanese sweet known for its soft, bouncy texture, which the brand said is reflected in the feel and finish of the products.
The pop-up is open to the public through a paid pass, which includes “aura mochimo” products and treats. The first 100 registrants will receive a gacha spin.
