Vickrum Digwa and his family members deny owning huge arsenal of weapons

  • Vickrum Digwa, his brother Gurpreet Digwa, and father Moga Singh have pleaded not guilty to numerous weapons offences, including the possession of 37 swords, flick-knives, an axe, and eight knuckledusters.
  • Vickrum Digwa, who is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Henry Nowak, appeared via videolink from HMP Frankland to deny seven counts of possessing offensive weapons in a private place at the family home in Southampton.
  • His father, Moga Singh, 52, and brother, Gurpreet Digwa, 27, also pleaded not guilty to the same charges, with Gurpreet facing four additional charges related to possessing weapons in a public place, specifically an extendable baton, a kirpan, and an axe in a car, along with an air weapon.
  • All three defendants face an additional amended charge concerning the possession of three push daggers in a private place, though pleas for this specific charge were not entered pending clarification from District Judge Henry Gordon.
  • The alleged offences are dated 4 December 2025, the day after the incident in which Mr Nowak was killed, with a trial date set for 27 September 2027, and a case management hearing scheduled for 4 June 2027.
