A recent TikTok video has tugged at the hearts of many netizens after three foreign workers were seen sitting on the floor while having a meal together.
In the video shared by @gl___gankkk, he and two others are seen having a simple meal of plain white rice paired with a handful of crunchy snacks, shared among themselves.

Getting by with what they had, gl___gankkk shared the bitterness of living far from home, believed to be in Indonesia, describing it as “something I will never forget for the rest of my life.”
He also shared in the comments that most of his earnings go toward supporting his younger sibling and grandmother back home.
“It’s really tough having to support my younger sibling and grandmother while staying healthy. I can’t reply to everyone individually, so I’ll just keep it short,” he wrote.
The simplicity of the moment touched many Indonesian netizens, who asked where he was working and even offered to send food, to which he replied that he is currently based in Johor Bahru.
Meanwhile, other netizens started flooding the comment section with their thoughts.
