Eleven people lost their lives on Saturday when a car drove into a crowd gathered for the cultural event.

A 30-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of murder in connection with the incident.

Throughout Sunday, mourners attended vigils across the city, leaving flowers and lighting candles in memory of the victims.

Footage from the scene showed people gathering both during the day and into the night to pay their respects, as the community came together to grieve and honour those who died.
