Vista Land net profit plunges 59% in 2025

VISTA Land & Lifescapes Inc. on Monday said net income plunged 59.4 percent to P3.8 billion last year from P9.37 billion in 2024, with the sharp fall attributed partly to “the recognition of interest expenses that were not capitalized into qualifying assets.”

In a disclosure, the Manny Villar-led company said consolidated revenues last year reached P35.8 billion.

Vista Land has yet to report its first-quarter and first-half 2026 earnings results.

Despite the decline in 2025 net income, it said earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached P24.2 billion, meeting the company’s target for the year.

The company also reported gross profit of P9.7 billion from its residential business.

Vista Land launched 46 horizontal residential projects in 2025, with an estimated value of P49.6 billion, as it renewed its focus on its core housing business led by its flagship brand, Camella.

The property developer said it also planned to maximize its landbank and investment properties through Vista Estates, its platform for developing integrated, master-planned communities across the country.

As of Dec. 31, 2025, Vista Land said it had total assets of P376.8 billion and total equity of P137.1 billion.

The company operates residential property development through Camella, Communities Philippines, Crown Asia, Brittany and Vista Residences, while Vistamalls handles its commercial property development business.

In remarks accompanying the disclosure, the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) said trading of the company's shares would remain suspended “in view of the non-submission of its Annual Report (SEC Form 17-A) for the year ended December 31, 2025, and Quarterly Reports (SEC Form 17-Q) for the periods ended March 31, 2026, and June 30, 2026.”

The bourse said the company’s annual report was “being disseminated solely for information purposes. This does not preclude any regulatory action that the Exchange may take in connection with the company’s compliance with the Consolidated Listing and Disclosure Rules and other relevant laws, rules and regulations.”

Vista Land shares last closed at P0.96 each on June 1.
