VitaHealth has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for achieving the “Most Turmeric-based Supplements Sold in a Year”.

PETALING JAYA: Health supplement brand VitaHealth has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for achieving the “Most Turmeric-based Supplements Sold in a Year”, reinforcing its position in Malaysia’s turmeric wellness market.

The certificate was presented to VitaHealth Malaysia & Singapore chief executive officer Dr KS Beh during a ceremony attended by the brand’s ambassador and Malaysian badminton player Pearly Tan.

Dr Beh said awareness of turmeric’s clinically supported health benefits was very low when VitaHealth products were first introduced in pharmacies in 2014.

“When we launched Turmercare, we were essentially starting from zero. We spent years on the ground educating the public and earning trust.

“This recognition belongs to Malaysians who chose to trust us. It affirms our promise to put quality and safety first,” she said.

VitaHealth initially faced challenges in educating consumers about turmeric and its anti-inflammatory properties.

Since then, the company has expanded its turmeric range into eight specialised supplements aimed at addressing concerns such as joint pain, muscle aches, immunity support and digestive health.

Dr Beh said the brand plans to continue innovating within its turmeric product line and broader wellness offerings.

VitaHealth also highlighted that its supplements are halal-certified by JAKIM and produced under stringent quality control processes, from sourcing to finished products.

During the event, Pearly shared that Turmercare had become part of her family’s daily wellness routine.

“I started taking it for myself and honestly, I felt the difference in managing my joints and muscles. It gave me the confidence to introduce it to my parents.

“I hope more people get to experience the same benefit,” she said.

In conjunction with Mother’s Day, VitaHealth also premiered a special video featuring Pearly and her mother as a tribute to mothers everywhere.
