Volvo Padel Open 2025 comes to a close with 416 players in 3 categories.

The Volvo Padel Open 2025 ended on a high note after six electrifying weekends, solidifying its reputation as Malaysia’s largest and most exciting padel tournament. In its second edition, the event drew a record-breaking 416 players across three competitive categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. This event was a massive event considering they initially aimed to sign up just 320 players. The event ran from the 21st of June to the 27th of July 2025.

Malaysia’s Largest Padel Tournament

Hosted in collaboration with premier clubs Joy Division Padel, Padelground, and PadelKu, and supported by key partners like Coca-Cola Malaysia, Tactical Padel, and REGEN Physio & Sports Rehab, the tournament offered prizes worth over RM180,000. Winners walked away with exclusive Volvo lifestyle merchandise, complimentary court hours, Tactical racquets, and even a seven-day Volvo electric car experience.

The event emphasized inclusivity and fair play. Mandatory skill assessments for Beginner and Intermediate categories, alongside free coaching clinics, ensured balanced competition and prepared newcomers for their debut matches.

Grand Finals & Champions

The Grand Finals on 27 July at Joy Division Padel 2, Petaling Jaya, witnessed intense rallies and a vibrant community spirit as over 450 attendees cheered on their favourites.

In total, 12 champions were crowned at the 2025 Volvo Padel Open 2025:

  • Beginner Men: Omar Abd Aziz & Khairil Anuar
  • Beginner Women: Ng Suhan & Nadia Syafiq
  • Intermediate Men: Leong Kit Kuan & Nicholas Low
  • Advanced Mixed: Sharifah Elysia & Christian Didier Chin
