Arsenal are wrapping up their protracted deal for Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba.
The Gunners are believed to have offered 27million for the 18-year-old who will need to complete his medical before the deal can be officially announced, says Football.London.
However, reports have claimed Saliba will return to France where he will continue his development with parent club, Saint-Etienne.
North London rivals, Tottenham , are also thought to be keen on landing the teenager.
But Arsenal appear to have won the race for his signature, with Football.London saying they're 'confident' the deal is done.
