Warehouse burns near St Petersburg as Ukraine targets Ozon sites

Russian firefighters worked through Sunday to extinguish a fire at a logistics centre next to a facility belonging to online retailer Ozon on the outskirts of St Petersburg.

Footage from the emergency services ministry shows crews dragging hoses through debris as thick smoke rises over the site in Kolpino. No injuries were reported and officials did not say what caused the fire.

The blaze came as Ukraine said it was widening a drone campaign against Russian logistics hubs. Kyiv's defence ministry announced on Saturday it was turning its attention to Ozon, Russia's second-largest online marketplace, after weeks of strikes on rival Wildberries.

Two other Ozon warehouses were hit over the weekend, in the Samara and Orenburg regions. Ozon said operations at the Orenburg hub were suspended.
