Kota Kinabalu: Tanjong Kapor Assemblyman, Ben Chong Chen Bin, called on the State Government to explain the formula used to give special grants by the Federal Government for five years beginning this year.
He said the given special grants is gazetted on April 20, 2022 P.U.(A) 119, under the Federal Constitution Order (Review of Special Grants Under Article 112D) (State of Sabah) 2022.
“According to the Gazette, Sabah will be paid RM125.6 million in 2022 before increased to RM129.7 million for 2023, RM133.8 million for 2024, RM138.1 million for 2025 and RM142.6 million for 2026.
