Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan on Wednesday reminded Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah to choose its partners for the 17th State Election (PRN17) carefully in view of “mounting discontent by Sabahans over continuous impediments faced by Sabah”.
Among the challenges are in relation to MA63, 40pc entitlement, annual development funding and more recently, the “kickbacks scandal” allegedly involving some Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) assemblymen.

“PH Sabah leaders also had open, direct access to Shafie and there was no need to arrange for a dinner to explain any controversial issue (including the heinous slander that Warisan is pro-PTI).

“Under WarisanPlus, Sabah made the history by becoming the first State in Malaysia to place a senior officer from MACC in the Chief Minister’s Office and it is rather unfortunate that the change of Government in 2020 prevented placement of officers in other State Governmental offices.”
