KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Supreme Council member Mohd Taib Isai has resigned along with several leaders and members, citing loss of confidence in the party’s top leadership.
He said the decision followed growing dissatisfaction among grassroots members and concerns that the party had strayed from Sabah’s aspirations.
Mohd Taib announced they will join Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah and back Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, praising his leadership for political stability and development.
Several Warisan leaders from Kudat, Kota Marudu, Sandakan and Kota Belud also exited the party, with more defections expected.
