A dramatic rescue unfolded in Taman Bukit Orang yesterday when four individuals were swept away by floodwaters after their boat overturned. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

Fortunately, all four victims, who are in their 40s, were successfully rescued by firemen.

Samalaju Fire and Rescue Department chief Irwin Abidin stated that they received a distress call at 1.58 pm. A fire and rescue team, already assisting with flood relief efforts nearby, was promptly diverted to the scene to save the victims, who were foreign workers.
