The 2025 Borneo Native Festival kicked off with a bang last weekend, right in the heart of KL.
This was its 4th year of celebration, with a myriad of happenings that evoked the spirit of Kaamatan and Gawai at the capital.
And let’s just say that KL certainly turned into a mini Borneo with all the resplendent traditional attires and dance-offs- we simply couldn’t take our eyes off such splendour.
According to a sharing on TikTok, even a full-on mob dance took place in three attractions- TRX, Pavilion and Pasar Seni.
For the Sabahans and Sarawakians living in the city, the festival served as the perfect getaway for them, and in some way, helped beat their homesickness.
To many more Borneo Native Festivals in the future, because the vibes were just on fire!
