Arwind Kumar@MakCik Roast-Mah recently took a swipe at Singaporean-born American comedian Jocelyn Chia, calling her controversial joke “not funny”.

In his latest video, MakCik Roast-Mah took to the open waters and opened up his latest video, emphasising that jokes about tragedies and the deceased are inappropriate.

“Jocelyn Chia, listen up! I watched the entire video, and I fail to see what’s so funny because your delivery comes across as passive-aggressive,” he said.

“That (stand-up performance) was not a joke. And furthermore, you mentioned that tragedy plus time equals comedy. Are you trying to act like a clown,” he asked.

“When people tell you that it’s not funny, please refrain from claiming that nobody knows how to take jokes nowadays.”

Continuing his rant, Arwind mentioned: “You seem to be attempting to ignite tensions between Malaysia and Singapore. It’s time to grow up.”

He also slammed a local comedian who thought that her jokes were funny.

“She simply isn’t funny. Making jokes about a tragedy is inappropriate, regardless of whether it’s been nine, ten, or 11 years.”

“It’s not comedy, and it’s not your place to tell it,” he said.
