They’re humans too
This kind-hearted family recently extended their Raya cheer to not only relatives and friends, but mamak workers too.
The thoughtful gesture made rounds on social media, which showed a man handing out duit raya to the workers of AJ Maju restaurant in Sungai Besi.
Speaking on the gesture, his wife @tirazif explained that their family was simply being appreciative of the men’s exceptional service and food, while also noting the amount of work they put, no matter the festivities or public holidays.
Their smiles and surprised reactions certainly touched viewers, with many praising the family for being thoughtful of those working around the clock in the F&B industry.
These heroes not only deserve our love and respect, but could also, in some way, help beat their homesickness.
